AI & your documents

Nothing you upload is sent to an AI service.

MarqueTrack calls some of what it does "AI assist". This page says exactly what that is, where your leases and messages go, and what we will not do with them.

What "AI assist" isWhere your documents goWhat we will never doIf this changes

What "AI assist" is

Reading a lease. When you drop in a tenancy agreement, your browser turns the PDF into text and a parser picks out the draft fields — tenant, dates, rent, deposit. You check every field before anything is saved. The reading happens on your device.

Sorting a task. When you type "aircon servicing" or "fire cert renewal", keyword rules guess the category and suggest a due date from the lead times the Singapore authorities work to — SCDF, BCA, EMA, IRAS. A suggestion, shown beside what you typed, one tap to dismiss.

Drafting a message. For a lease running out or rent overdue, MarqueTrack prepares a draft from your own lease dates and invoice figures, in the same wording every time. Nothing is sent until you read it and send it yourself.

None of this is a language model. It is a set of rules we wrote, running in your browser, and it makes suggestions — never decisions.

Where your documents go

A file you upload is kept with its lease in your account's documents, in the same place as any other file — and nowhere else. It is not sent to any third-party AI provider, and no copy is made for one. How long we keep it, and how to have it deleted, is in the privacy policy.

You can check this yourself: open your browser's network panel while reading a lease. The PDF is uploaded once, to your own account's storage, and nothing goes anywhere else.

What we will never do

We will not train a model on your leases, tenants, messages or figures. We will not sell or share them with an AI provider. And MarqueTrack will not make an automated decision about a tenant — no scoring, no automatic notice, no automatic termination. Every message that leaves your account is one a person chose to send.

If this changes

If we ever add a feature that sends a document to an AI service, we will say so on this page and in the privacy policy first, tell you what goes and to whom, and ask before your account uses it. Until then, the answer to "does AI read my lease?" is: your browser does, and nobody else.
